Gail L. Sanderson, O.D.
Dr. Sanderson is a 2003 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Optometry. She completed a one year residency program at The Eye Center of Toledo in 2004. There she received extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease, surgery co-management, and LASIK evaluation.
Dr. Sanderson participates in the Ohio Optometric Association's RealEyes program. This public awareness initiative seeks to educate children about eyes and vision through the Save Our Sight fund. She was the top presenter of the program in Ohio for the 2005-2006 and 2006-2007 school years, sharing the program with over 1,500 students each year. She is also a member of the Kiwanis Club of Toledo, an organization dedicated to serving the youth of Central Toledo. In addition, Dr. Sanderson volunteers her time performing eye examinations through Prevent Blindness Ohio. |
Dr. Sanderson was raised in Oregon, Ohio and completed her bachelor's degree at Bluffton College. She enjoys having returned to the Toledo area where she can spend time with friends and family. Her hobbies include yoga, playing games/cards, and amateur bird watching. She is an avid football and IndyCar fan!
Jason C. Rasor, O.D.
Dr. Rasor received his Doctor of Optometry degree from Ohio State University College of Optometry in 2004. He is also an alumnus of Bowling Green State University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree. He has practiced in Lima and Maumee. In April 2009, he began practicing in Point Place with Dr. Alvin Zohn and Dr. Sanderson.
Dr. Rasor enjoys the variety that optometry offers, from prescribing and fitting spectacles and contact lenses to treating ocular conditions and diseases. He also volunteers time performing eye exams at the Mildred Bayer Center for the Homeless and through Prevent Blindness Ohio. Dr. Rasor was raised in Cairo, OH (just north of Lima). He enjoys spending time with his wife Shauna and their two daughters. His hobbies include hunting, running, cheering on the Boston Red Sox and Michigan Wolverines, and eating Myles Pizza |
